A Prairie is an area of flat grasslands in Western Canada. The phrase "the Prairies" in Canada usually refers to the provinces of Manitoba, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
MISA Prairies is the chapter that represents municipalities in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Currently the Prairies Chapter has 35 member municipalities and 11 associate members and it continues to grow each year.
