There are four types of membership available:

Regular Membership
Shall consist of:
i.   A local government or regional district as defined in the Municipal Government Act (MGA or equivalent) in the Province of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba
ii. A local government body as defined under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

Affiliate Membership
Affiliate Membership is availabe to any federal, provincial, or local government executives, agencies or commissions with Executive approval.  Affililate membership is also available to local government professional organizations.

Associate Membership
Associate Membership is available to organizations not eligible for Regular or Affilate memberships that provide professional expertise or management consulting services to local governments.

Honorary Membership
Honorary Membership may be granted at the discretion of the current Executive during their term in recognition of a person of exemplary character who has made outstanding contributions to further the purpose and objectives of the association.
